DESCRIPTION:The Langley Marshall Trophy memorialises Brian Langley and Paul Marshall – passionate Northshore Aero Club aerobatic instructors and NZAC stalwarts. \nAwarding of the Langley Marshall Trophy is to the pilot scoring the highest overall percentage across all completed sequences. \nPast winners have typically (but not always) been from the lower categories\, so everybody has a chance to win the main trophy. \nThis two-day competition will allow (weather permitting) at least three competition sequence flights per competitor\, in your selected category. \nENTER HERE\n\n\n\n\nWhere\nMercer Airport\, North Waikato\n\n\nWhen\nFebruary 3rd/4th 2024 \n9am briefing both days\n\n\nCost\n$80 (1 Category) \n$150 (2 Categories)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCategories\nPrimary / Recreational / Sports / Intermediate / Advanced / Unlimited\n\n\nSequences\nKnown / Free – Free Known / Unknown\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 2023/24 Known sequences are on the NZAC website or https://openaero.net\nIn REC and SPT\, you have the option of designing your own Free sequence (within the rules) in OpenAero\, or re-flying your Known sequence.\nFor INT and above\, you must create your own Free Known sequence using the figures of 2023 CIVA Free Known in OpenAero.\nIf you are new to competition aerobatics\, there are many articles on the NZAC website regarding the use of OpenAero\, and the Rules (Resources/Rules) provide limits and requirements of sequences and figures.\n\nHangarage\, overnight parking and fuel available on the airfield.
